San Donà di Paiave is one of the most important centers of eastern Venice, built along the banks of the river to the sacred homeland, in a strategic position attracting the tourist from all over the world to spend the unforgettable vacation period which can refresh them from their busy routine life.
From the historical point of view San Donà di Piave is of particular importance for the events related to the two world wars: during the war of 1915 to 1918 the city was completely destroyed, between the years 1943 to 1945 instead played an important role in the War Liberation from Nazi (and for that decorated the Military Valor).
